The boats' sails will flap to the rhythm of English sea shanties, Latin American bandas, the shanties of France's seafarers, the traditional music of Brittany, and street bands and fanfares.

Pace up and down the quays and enjoy the atmosphere of small concert stages and, for the first time, two floating stages.

There will be over 2000 enthusiastic musicians and artists playing music and livening up the atmosphere of this international maritime festival.

Let yourself be carried away by a veritable maritime symphony from the seas of the world, or be swayed by the waves of notes blown by the Brest international festival of fanfares. This annual highlight of Brest's cultural life sees tens of noisy formations march between Brest and Ouessant. Exceptionally it will be held during the Tonnerres de Brest in 2012.
